WEDDING FAQ

Question

How far in advance should we book your services for our wedding?

Answer

For my services I would suggest booking 6 months to 1 year ahead.

It is a good idea to start searching for your wedding photographer 1-1.5 years before your wedding. I suggest researching photographers that you like through social media and referrals. There are so many amazing photographers out there and it is incredibly important that not only does your photographer meet your budget but that you absolutely LOVE their work. Do not settle just because of a “good deal”, book the photographer that is perfect for you guys! And if you want to get to know me then simply send me a message and we can meet up for a coffee or cocktail and get to know each other.

question

How far in advance should we book our engagement session?

answer

I would suggest setting up your engagement session as soon as you book for your wedding. You want to announce to your family and friends that you're getting married and what a better way then showcasing beautiful images of you and your fiancé. Images will take 2-4 weeks to get back to you and product will take 4-8 weeks. But if you are waiting for a certain season then try to keep it to a minimum of 3 months before your wedding.

question

How long does it take to get back our wedding images and how many images should we expect to get?

answer

Your gallery will take 8-10 weeks to be ready. Albums and product will take an additional 4-8 weeks. You should expect to get approx 40-50 images per hour of shooting at your wedding.

question

Do you make wedding albums?

answer

Of course!! Wedding albums are my fave product and I recommend that every couple have one printed. Albums are designed by yours truly and then they are sent off to production where they will be hand made and printed in Italy. You will be fully apart of the design and will choose everything from the thickness of the paper to the material of the cover. I have many albums for you to review and material swatches to help you make your decisions. Parent albums are also available and please ask me about our mini albums! Plus as a BONUS when you book an engagement + wedding collection you get a free 30 page album included!

question

Will all of our images be edited?

answer

Yes! Every image in your gallery will be fully edited. Your images will come back to you as the style you see in my portfolio. I will not manipulate bodies but enhance your images. Your images will be delivered in jpeg, high resolution. You will not get RAW files, period.

question

What equipment do you shoot with?

answer

I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark iii and have an additional back up camera with me during every wedding and engagement session. I have multiple lenses that include a 24-70mm, 70-200 and a 100mm.

question

Does the Bride and Groom provide dinner and when do you take your breaks?

answer

Dinner would very much be appreciated. During weddings it is a normal etiquette to provide dinner for your vendors and most venues will provide a discount for those plates. Providing dinner will keep me at the venue and not having missed moments. When you eat, I will eat and if a moment comes up I will right there to photograph it. During the day I will take little breaks to check my equipment, switch batteries and have a lil snack. During these times I will always consult with you before hand to make sure that nothing will be missed.

question

How do I know that we are a good fit?

answer

Well here is how I can best answer this… Are you a down to earth girl who can be a total tom-boy one second and then rock a bold red lip the next? Do you value family and treat friendships with trust and loyalty? Are you a couple who enjoys the company of a snoring fur baby and sharing your pizza crusts? Do you guys love the outdoors, travelling, pretty things, DIY and intimate moments. Will you guys brave mother nature and get messy wind blown hair for that epic shot? If you have answered yes to some of these then we could be a great fit!

I love weddings that are intimate and full of passion. The bride that looks flawless in one photo and the very next is shot-gunning a beer before walking down the aisle is my kinda gal! I like fun and unexpected moments. The groom that breaks out into a choreographed dance for his new bride will make my damn day. But what really pulls at my heart strings are those intimate moments. Dads crying seeing their baby girl for the first time in her dress. The bridesmaids passing down something blue for their best friend. Or the couple running off and reading hand written intimate vows, is the reason why I love weddings. So if you sound like this kinda couple then lets set up a date and get to know each other!
